Which scanner set is right for you?
Answer a few quick questions and we’ll show you the right configuration.
Our five-layer system for DSLR/DSLM film scanning: copy stand, light source, adapter, film holder, and lens hood, modularly combinable for Minox, 110, 35mm, and medium format.
Copy Stand: Stable base
The copy stand forms the foundation: 100% parallel alignment with the film plane, height-adjustable, and vibration-free. Compatible with all common cameras.
Light source: CineStill CS-LITE
The entire film holder system is designed for the illuminated area of the CineStill CS-LITE (95 × 150 mm). High color rendering index (CRI 95+) for accurate colors.
Tip: Why CS-LITE?
- CRI 95+: Calibrated color temperature, ideal for negatives and slides
- Precisely fitting illuminated area: The 120 film holder sits directly on it; all others use Adapter Plates
- Included in the Pro and Full Sets, or available separately
Adapter Plates: Light seal
The Adapter Plates form the interface between the CS-LITE and the film holder. They prevent stray light from below from glaring into the macro lens.
Which adapter for which format?
- Adapter Plate Mini: For Minox 8×11 and 110 pocket film
- Adapter Plate 35: For all 35mm film holders (Standard, Pano, Half Frame, Sprocket)
- 120 medium format: No adapter needed. The 120 film holder (95×150mm) sits directly on the CS-LITE
Adapter Plate Mini: Minox & 110 → CS-LITE
Light seal between small formats and CS-LITE. Prevents stray light from below.
Adapter Plate 35 — 35mm → CS-LITE
Precisely fitting frame for all 35mm film holders. Included in the Pro and Full Sets.
120 Medium Format: Direct Fit
The 120 film holder (95×150mm) sits directly on the CS-LITE; no adapter needed.
Film Holder: The Heart of the System
The film holder consists of a Base Plate and magnetic Top Plate. The S-curve guide ensures perfect film flatness, while the magnets enable film changes in seconds, even with short film strips.
Modular Principle
Each Base Plate is format-specific. The magnetic Top Plates can be swapped, so you can scan different sub-formats with one Base (e.g., 6×6, 6×4.5, 6×7, and 6×9 on the 120 Base).
Complete Scanner Sets

Film Scanner Set 120: Medium Format (6×6)

Film Scanner Set Minox 8×11: Subminiature
For 9.2mm film. The world's only modular camera-scanning holder for Minox 8×11. ~12,000 ppi with macro lens.
Film Scanner Set 110: Pocketfilm
For 16mm Pocketfilm. 13×17mm image window, magnetic Top Plate, S-curve guide for perfect flatness.
Magnetic Top Plates: Format Extensions
Easy to swap
Every Top Plate locks into place magnetically. To change formats, simply lift off the Top Plate and put on another one—no tools, no screws.
Sprocket = Separate Set
The 35mm Sprocket Set has a wider Base Plate than the standard 35mm set. The Sprocket Top Plate does not fit the standard 35mm Base, and vice versa. However, both sets use the same Hood (Hood M) and the same Adapter Plate 35.
Hoods: Stray Light Protection
The hoods block stray light from above and reflections on the film surface. They slide into the Top Plate via a rail system, hold securely, and can be removed in seconds.
Comparing Set Variants
Each format is available in three variants. The Pro variant contains everything you need to get started right away with the CS-LITE, while the Full variant also includes the Copy Stand.
