Ausgeknipst is a promise: "Your beloved camera? The feeling of quality in your hands, the precision of the mechanics, the satisfying clack of the mirror. You don’t have to give any of that up."
Every analog camera has its own story. Many are now over 40 years old and have experienced a lot. Weddings, birthday celebrations, vacations in Italy, snapshots taken on a walk. All these stories still want to be told today, but too often an analog camera’s story ends in a drawer.
Usually, it’s a small problem: a battery that’s no longer available. A replacement part that can’t be found anywhere. The camera becomes a display piece or a dust catcher. But it doesn’t have to be that way!
We believe these treasures don’t belong on a shelf. Your camera deserves a second life, and our mission is to give it one.
We are Anto & Vladi. Two friends, camera lovers & engineers. Like so many start-ups before us, Ausgeknipst was born out of necessity. We love our cameras too and want to preserve them. Our passion for analog photography met technical expertise. Ausgeknipst grew out of this combination. We love delving into old camera technology and developing precisely fitting, reliable solutions for problems that put cameras out of action.
Each of our products is a solution to a problem that the major manufacturers have long since ignored. Each of our parts is designed to make a beloved camera ready for everyday use. Our parts bridge the gap between classic camera technology and the present day, developed and manufactured using modern production methods in Germany and shipped all over the world.
So if you also think your camera still has a few stories to tell, you’ve come to the right place. Feel free to check out our blog, subscribe to our newsletter, and become part of the global analog community by following us on YouTube & Instagram. We’re also active on Reddit, in various Facebook groups, on APHOG.de, and in other forums specializing in analog photography.

What’s the difference between Ausgeknipst and batteries from Amazon or other retailers?
Ausgeknipst sells solutions you won’t find anywhere else: adapters for long-discontinued battery types (e.g. PX625 mercury, PX27, MR9), replacement parts for cameras that are 40+ years old, and refill film cartridges. Unlike generic batteries from the mass market, Ausgeknipst provides camera-specific, tested solutions with a two-year warranty and personal customer support by email and phone. Many products are available exclusively from Ausgeknipst worldwide.
What happens if my camera or battery type isn’t in the range?
Send us an email at shopify@ausgeknipst.de. A large part of the current range originally emerged from specific customer requests: when a problem comes up repeatedly or can be solved technically, we develop a suitable product. For cameras in need of repair, Ausgeknipst also maintains a directory of specialized repair shops in Germany and internationally.
What warranty and support does Ausgeknipst offer?
Two years of statutory warranty on all products. For technical questions, compatibility issues, or complaints, customer support is available by email (shopify@ausgeknipst.de) and by phone. Many product pages also include detailed compatibility tables and instructions.
Does Ausgeknipst ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide shipping. Within the EU with correct VAT invoicing, and to Switzerland, the UK, the USA, Australia, and many other countries. Products containing lithium (e.g. certain battery kits) are subject to special shipping regulations and are partly restricted to shipping within Germany. Details can be found on the respective product page.
