Battery disposal

Information according to § 18 para. 1 Battery Act on the return of used batteries and accumulators:


 

Batteries/accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste. The waste bin symbol indicates that hazardous batteries/accumulators must be disposed of properly and not via household waste. End users are legally obligated to return used batteries/accumulators.

We would like to inform you that batteries/accumulators can be returned free of charge at any municipal collection point or at local retailers (e.g. supermarkets or drugstores).

You can also return batteries and accumulators free of charge at the address below or send them back to us by post with sufficient postage:

Hazardous batteries are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out trash can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines the classification as hazardous.
