What's included
All three sets include the Minox film holder: Base Plate and magnetic Top Plate. The Pro Set adds the CineStill CS-LITE light source, CSL Adapter Plate, and hood. The Full Set additionally includes the Copy Stand MK2 for a complete scanning station.

You need a tripod head for the Copy Stand
This applies to the Full Set; the Basic and Pro Sets do not include a Copy Stand. The Copy Stand has a 3/8" screw on top; a tripod head is not included. The setup is: Copy Stand, tripod head on top, camera on top of that. You use the joint to align the camera exactly parallel to the negative, which is why the profile does not have a fixed camera mount.
Practically any ball or geared head will fit, as 3/8" is the standard on the underside of the head. If you have a tripod, simply unscrew the head and use it here. If you don't have your own head, our leveling base fits directly onto the 3/8" screw.

Description
Minox film in the 8×11 format is treated as an afterthought by most scanning systems, and a film holder that really fits is hard to find. This system is the only dedicated scanning solution for Minox subminiature film, designed from the ground up for Minox shooters: modular, with no compromises in quality or handling, even with the smallest format. The Base Plate guides the 9.2 mm-wide film through a channel with a Dual-S curve that keeps the strip flat without glass plates. Remove the magnetic Top Plate with one hand: insert the film, snap it into place, and scan. The integrated rubber feet (2 mm, Shore 70A) provide a non-slip base on any light source.
The system can expand with your workflow: from the Basic entry-level option, through the Pro Set with CineStill CS-LITE light source, Adapter Plate, and hood, to the complete scanning station with Copy Stand MK2. Made in Würzburg, Germany.
