Description
This developing reel holds 9.2 mm wide Minox 8x11 film, for example from the Minox B, C, BL, LX, EC or AX, and, depending on the version, fits the center column of Paterson (Super System 4), AP and Kaiser tanks or Jobo 1500 series tanks.
You'll hardly find a developing reel for 8x11 film anywhere else, because standard reels don't hold the narrow strip from your Minox. With this reel you develop 8x11 film in your existing daylight developing tank.
The reel slides onto the center axis of your tank, secures the film, and ensures even circulation of the chemicals. Its chemical-resistant construction withstands contact with developer and fixer. In addition to Paterson, AP, and Jobo (1500 series), the reel also fits the center axis of Kaiser tanks. Manufactured in-house in Germany.
Practical tip
Cut the corners of the film strip at a 45-degree angle before loading it into the reel. This lets the film slide in more smoothly and prevents it from catching.
