Who gives the guarantee?

Which products?
All products whose product page on ausgeknipst.de is marked “3-year guarantee” and shows the EU guarantee label (GARAN). The item number in the label is the model identifier. The guarantee covers the entire product. Products with rechargeable or disposable batteries, bought-in goods, sets that include bought-in goods, and wear parts such as light seals do not carry the label and are not covered.
What do we promise?
We guarantee that the product works for three years with normal use. If it breaks, deforms or stops working, we repair it or send you an equivalent replacement – at our choice, possibly in a revised version. If neither is possible, we refund the purchase price. We pay for shipping and all other costs of the guarantee service. You do not have to prove that the defect already existed at the time of purchase.
How long?
Three years from the day you received the goods. The time from reporting a guarantee claim until you receive the repaired part or the replacement is added to the guarantee period. A replacement is covered until the end of this guarantee period; it does not start a new period.
What is not covered?
Damage caused by dropping, impact or other use of force beyond normal use, by modifying or machining the part, by use that does not match the product description or instructions (for example on a camera that is not listed), by strong heat (for example in a closed car in the sun), blades that become dull through use (for example in film cutters), and normal signs of use such as scratches that do not affect function.
How do you make a claim?
Within the guarantee period, write to info@ausgeknipst.de or use the contact form on ausgeknipst.de with your order number (or proof of purchase), what happened and, if possible, a photo. If we need the part back, we send you a free return label.
Where does the guarantee apply?
For orders placed in the online shop ausgeknipst.de from 2026-11-03, in all countries we deliver to. Purchases via eBay, Amazon or other sellers are not covered. The guarantee also applies to later owners who present the proof of purchase.
Your legal rights remain
Independently of this guarantee, you have statutory rights against us as the seller if the goods are not in conformity (legal guarantee). You can exercise these rights free of charge, and this guarantee does not restrict them. You are free to choose whether to use the guarantee or your statutory rights.
Costs and applicable law
The guarantee is free of charge. German law applies; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
