Description

This developing reel holds 110 pocket film and 16mm film and, depending on the version, fits Paterson, AP and Kaiser developing tanks or Jobo 15xx series tanks. Thanks to its height of 21 mm, up to four reels fit into a standard tank that otherwise holds two 35mm films.

The 110 format originally comes from 16mm cine film. The reel withstands all common photographic chemicals, and to remove the film you twist it open counterclockwise: the two halves separate and the film can be taken off.

Choose the suitable variant for your system above (Paterson / AP / Kaiser or Jobo 15xx). A practical tip: Cut the corners of the film strip at a 45-degree angle before loading it. This helps the film slide in more smoothly and prevents it from catching in the guide. Made in Germany.

110 pocket film and 16mm motion-picture film have exactly the same film width (16mm). If you own a Bolex H16, a Krasnogorsk K-3, an Arriflex 16ST, or another 16mm film camera and want to develop your test strips yourself, this reel is suitable. It is durable and precisely designed for this width.

Frequently asked questions

Which variant do I need for my tank? The Paterson variant fits tanks from Paterson, AP and Kaiser; the Jobo variant fits Jobo tanks of the 15xx series.

How much film fits on one reel? Around 1.3 m, which is about two 110 cartridges.

Can I also develop Minox film with it? No. This reel is too wide for the Minox format with 9.2 mm; there is a separate, narrower reel for that.

Which chemistry can the reel handle? Black-and-white developers as well as C-41, E-6 and ECN-II.
