- Enables self-development of 110 and 16mm film: The spool fits common standard tanks (Jobo or Paterson/AP) and makes 110 Pocketfilm developable in your own home lab.
- Holds about 1.3 m of film: This corresponds to about two 110 cartridges per spool.
- Can be split for film removal: The spool can be divided into two halves with a twist lock, allowing the wet film to be removed without creases.
- Compatible with all common photographic chemicals: Compatible with B&W, C-41, E-6, and ECN-II — no restrictions on the process.
Important note about Minox 8x11: This spool is too wide for the Minox format (9.2 mm). There is a separate, narrower spool for this: Developer spool for Minox 8x11

Description
This spool upgrades your Jobo or Paterson tank for the 110 Pocketfilm format (and 16mm cine film). Due to the low height of 21 mm, up to four spools fit into a standard tank, which is normally designed for two 35mm films. The spool can be split into two halves with a twist lock so that the wet film can be removed crease-free after development. Quality Made in Germany for your darkroom.
A practical tip: Cut the corners of the film strip at a 45-degree angle before loading it into the spool — this makes the film slide in much more smoothly and prevents it from catching in the guide.
For 16mm cine film
110 Pocketfilm and 16mm cine film share exactly the same film width (16mm). If you own a Bolex H16, a Krasnogorsk K-3, an Arriflex 16ST, or another 16mm film camera and want to develop test strips yourself, you can use this spool directly for that.
Part of the 110 Pocketfilm System
This product is part of our complete 110 ecosystem: cutting film, loading cartridges, developing, and scanning — all from one source.
