  • Stray light blocked: The hood keeps light coming in from the side away from the Tessar lens and ensures high-contrast images.
  • Standard filters instead of rarities: The front 40,5mm thread accepts common filters instead of the hard-to-find 24mm filters.
  • Protection for the front element: Sits in front of the lens as a barrier and absorbs scratches and knocks.
  • Cleanly cut threads: The hood screws onto the lens easily and precisely.

Compatibility

  • Rollei 35 (Tessar)
  • Rollei 35 T
  • Rollei 35 TE
  • Rollei B35

Not for Rollei 35 S and 35 SE (Sonnar lens): these have a 30,5mm thread and need a different version.

Scope of delivery

1x lens hood with integrated filter adapter (24mm to 40,5mm)

Technical details

  • Material: engineering plastic
  • Colour: black
  • Mounting thread: 24mm (camera side)
  • Filter thread: 40,5mm (front side)

Description

For the Rollei 35 with Tessar lens, this lens hood solves the annoying filter problem: its front 40,5mm thread makes the barely available 24mm filters unnecessary. It blocks stray light from the side and protects the front element at the same time.

With the front 40,5mm thread, you can use common standard filters instead of having to hunt for the now rare 24mm filters.

After a purchase we ask for a review by email. New reviews appear automatically; we read them afterwards and never remove one because of its star rating. “Verified purchase” means the review came through the review link of an order in our shop. “Verified” marks older reviews that our previous review service, Judge.me, had labelled as verified. Reviews imported from Amazon are labelled and not included in the average. How we collect and check reviews

Designed in Würzburg

We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we print and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
