Description
The Nikon FA lacks a grip out of the box: its body is flat and angular, as was typical for its time. If you use the camera with a heavy lens, you know the feeling of constantly having to hold against it. This grip gives your hand additional support without changing the lines of the camera. You screw it onto the camera body by hand with the knurled screw, no tool or coin needed.
With the grip, the camera sits more firmly in your hand, which especially helps with telephoto lenses and longer exposure times. Your index finger still reaches the shutter button without contortion.
