Does my camera need perforated 110 film?

With this simple test, you can find out if your camera can use unperforated film:

  1. Remove the film cartridge from the camera and leave the back open.
  2. Operate the film advance lever or wheel.
  3. Then press the shutter release.

Does the shutter release? Congratulations! Your camera does not require perforation in the film to cock the shutter and is fully compatible with our cassettes and unperforated film.

Does the shutter not release? Then your camera relies on perforation and unfortunately does not work with unperforated film.
