Description

If your Leica M8 shows the wrong framelines, the lens is usually the cause: on Leica M cameras, the Minolta M-Rokkor 28mm 1:2.8 often brings up 35 mm or 50 mm instead of the 28 mm you actually need. Instead of filing down the lens bayonet, this small clip solves the problem mechanically.

You attach it and use it to lock your camera's frame selector lever in the 28mm/90mm position, or in any other position you need (24/35 mm, 50/75 mm). That way the viewfinder always shows the correct framing, without you having to worry about the lever.

Good to know for 6-bit coded lenses: the camera only evaluates the code together with the frameline currently shown in the viewfinder. If the lever is clamped in place, it only recognises codes that belong to this frameline. For lenses with a different frameline, remove the clip first.
