- Clean look: The black cap sits discreetly on the metering window and simply looks neat and clean when fitted.
- Covers the selenium cell completely: Selenium cells age from constant exposure to light. The cover keeps the light meter in the dark when you're not using it.
- Longer cell life: The Meter MC has no off switch. The cap protects the chemistry of the selenium cell, whether on the shelf or in your bag.
- Hard to find elsewhere: You'll hardly find a protective cap for the Meter MC anywhere else.
- Simply slips on: Designed for the honeycomb window of the Leica Meter MC.

Description
The Leica Meter MC is a classic tool for M2 and M3 users, but its technology has a weak point: the selenium cell. It reacts to light constantly and loses sensitivity over the years, a process that can be slowed down by darkness. Since the Meter MC has no on/off switch, this cover is the mechanical solution: it slips onto the honeycomb window when the camera sits on the shelf or is carried in a bag. This keeps the cell protected, the light meter ready for use longer, and the front looking clean.

We are Anto & Vladi
Support a young startup
You want innovative solutions instead of mass-produced goods? With us, you don’t buy from an anonymous wholesaler, but directly from the founders. We (Anto & Vladi) started our startup in 2019 in Würzburg to help you revive analog photography.
Developed by engineers
Designed in Würzburg
We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we print and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
