The original rear caps of Kiev optics often become brittle or are missing entirely. This cap is made for the Kiev 88 screw bayonet (Type B) and fits on the back of your Volna, Vega, or Mir lenses. It keeps dust and mechanical influences away from the rear lens as long as the lens is not attached to the camera. Handmade in Germany.
