Description

The grip for your Leica M6 and other classic M models gives you noticeably more security when holding the camera, without you having to modify it permanently. This hand grip gives you more grip without completely breaking the aesthetics. It is fixed in the tripod thread of the original baseplate with the included screw.

The grip doesn't hang on a single screw point: its plate lies across the full width beneath the baseplate and encloses it. When you mount it on a tripod, the camera therefore stays where you aligned it instead of twisting under tension.

The design leaves the baseplate's locking mechanism free: to change film, you remove the baseplate together with the grip and get straight to the film without unscrewing anything first. The Arca Swiss mount in the base allows quick changes between handheld and tripod use.

    Ich bin froh, endlich einen kleinen Handgriff an meiner M6 zu haben. Der Preis ist mehr als fair, 5 Sterne. Das Anbringen war aber etwas kompliziert. Die beigelegte Schraube hat nicht in das vorgefertigte Loch gepasst. Nur mit sehr viel Gewalt konnte der Handgriff letztendlich am Boden montiert werden. Dabei entstand ein kleiner Riss im Rahmen der den Boden des Kamera Body umgibt. Das hat zwar keine Auswirkung auf den Griff, sehe ich aber als kleine Schwachstelle. Nichtsdestotrotz erfüllt der Griff seinen Zweck. Sieht gut aus und bringt etwas mehr Sicherheit mit sich.
