All variants include the Minox film holder: Base Plate and magnetic Top Plate. “With light source” adds the CineStill CS-LITE light source, the CSL Adapter Plate and the lens hood. “With copy stand” additionally includes the Copy Stand MK2 for a complete scanning station. “Everything but camera and lens” also includes the leveling base, which replaces the tripod head.

You need a tripod head for the Copy Stand
You need a tripod head for the Copy Stand
Applies to the “With copy stand” and “Everything but camera and lens” variants, the other variants don't include a Copy Stand. The Copy Stand has a 3/8" screw on top. A tripod head is not included in any set. The setup is: Copy Stand, tripod head on top, camera on top of that. You use the joint to align the camera exactly parallel to the negative, which is why there's no fixed camera mount on the profile.
Practically any ball head or geared head fits, since 3/8" is the standard on the underside of the head. If you have a tripod, simply unscrew the head and use it here. Without a head of your own, our leveling base fits directly onto the 3/8" screw. If you choose “Everything but camera and lens” above, it comes right in the package.

Minox film in the 8x11 format gets short shrift in most scanning systems, and a film holder that really fits is hard to find. This system is the only dedicated scanning solution for Minox subminiature film, built from the ground up for Minox shooters: modular, with no compromises on quality and handling, even at this tiny format. The Base Plate guides the 9.2mm wide film through a channel with a dual S curve that keeps the strip flat without glass plates. You remove the magnetic Top Plate with a single motion: load the film, snap it in, scan. The integrated rubber feet (2mm, Shore 70A) provide a non-slip stand on any light source.
The system grows with your workflow: from the film holder alone, through the “With light source” variant (CineStill CS-LITE, Adapter Plate and lens hood), up to the complete scanning station with Copy Stand MK2. We make the film holders ourselves in Würzburg.
