This rear cap is exclusively suitable for the inner bayonet (Inner Bay). This system is used almost only by 50mm standard lenses. Wide-angle (e.g., Biogon, Jupiter-12) and telephoto lenses (e.g., Sonnar 85mm/135mm) usually use the outer bayonet – for those, you need a different cap (Outer Bay).
