Description

On the bottom of the Canon A series is the connection for the motor drive (winder). It is factory-sealed with a small cap – which almost always gets lost over the years because it is unscrewed to attach the winder and then not put back in. This cap is the replacement: it screws into the thread on the bottom of the camera and covers the contacts when no winder is mounted.
