The connection for the winder, or Motor Drive, is located on the bottom of your Canon A-1 and the other A-series cameras. The corresponding protective cap is often lost. This replacement screws into the thread in the same location and covers the connections when no winder is mounted. This keeps the electrical contacts and mechanism protected from dust and dirt. Manufactured in-house in Germany.
