Safety instructions

Description

If your Metz 76 MZ-5 or 70 MZ-5 is no longer delivering sufficient power, the old battery pack is usually to blame – and original replacements have long since become unavailable. This battery holder supplies power using seven rechargeable AA batteries, which you can purchase individually at any time.

The included AA dummy is essential: The holder is designed for 7 cells plus a dummy. The dummy is not a battery and must not be charged – it occupies the eighth slot and closes the circuit. Without it, the adapter supplies no power.

To install it, align the two triangular markings on the end cap and flash housing, then secure the holder with a push-and-twist motion. The holder has no charging electronics for the generator connection: Always charge the batteries in an external charger.
