  • Replacement for the Dryfit lead-acid battery: Battery holder for 10 standard AA cells instead of the heavy, often defective, and no longer available original battery (6038, 6039, A-605, 4-2k).
  • Correct voltage, double capacity: internal wiring connects 2x5 cells in parallel — resulting in 6V nominal voltage with NiMh and double the capacity.
  • Saves functional technology from electronic waste: Everything on the flash itself is intact, only the original battery is dead — with the battery holder, it stays in use.
  • Available as a complete set on request: Variants with 10x Varta AA batteries (2600 mAh NiMH) and external 12-slot charger.

Safety Instructions

NEVER charge in the original charger! The AA batteries must be charged in an external charger. Connecting the flash generator to the power supply with the adapter inserted leads to overheating and fire hazard.

Description

The battery holder for the Metz Mecablitz 60 CT-4 as well as the models 60 CT-1 and 60 CT-2 upgrades the flash generator to 10 standard AA cells. It replaces the heavy, often defective lead-acid battery (Dryfit 6038) with 10 standard AA cells. The internal wiring provides the correct 6V and doubles the capacity through the parallel strings. The housing is robustly designed.

    Nachdem die zweite Dryfit-Batterie den Geist aufgegeben hatte und ich keinen passenden Ersatz mehr finden konnte, dachte ich natürlich an AA-Batterien, scheute aber den Aufwand daran herumzubasteln. Genau da ist die Lösung von Ausgeknipst jeden Euro wert.
