Description
This battery adapter replaces the original 12 V NiCd battery pack of the grey Canon Scoopic 16 (also sold as the Scoopic 16S), which has often given up by now. It takes eight AAA cells and delivers 9.6 V with NiMH rechargeables or 12.0 V with alkaline batteries. It does not fit the Scoopic M, MN and MS (there’s the S-12 Adapter for those), nor the DS-8.
The adapter slides into the battery compartment, and you run your 16mm camera on AAA cells you can buy anywhere, with no expensive recelling. Built tough for use on set.

Rechargeables or batteries? Either works. We recommend eight Varta AAA NiMH rechargeables (1000 mAh), which give you 9.6 V. With eight alkaline batteries you get 12.0 V.
Will the adapter fit my Scoopic MS? No. For the Scoopic M, MN and MS, there’s the S-12 Adapter. This adapter is made for the grey body of the Scoopic 16 (16S).
Are the cells included? Not with the single battery adapter. The complete set comes with two adapters, a 12-slot charger and 16 Varta AAA rechargeables (1000 mAh).
