The compact lenses of the Leica CL have a catch: the filter thread does not correspond to the common E39 standard (0.5 mm pitch), but to the "Series 5.5" standard with a steeper thread pitch (0.75 mm). Using standard accessories here risks damaging the thread.

This lens hood is precisely designed for this special size — as a replacement for the original Leica rubber lens hood No. 12518. It screws on cleanly, blocks stray light, and preserves the classic look of your gear.
