Description

Minolta and Sony used the proprietary iISO (Auto-Lock) flash shoe for many years. Unlike the ISO standard, contacts and springs are exposed when no accessory is mounted. The cover closes the flash shoe flush — this prevents corrosion on the contacts and provides a smooth surface on the top of the camera.
