The classic Nikon HN-2 as a functional replica: this lens hood keeps stray light away from your 52mm Nikkor lenses and gives you more contrast when shooting into the light. The hood screws directly into the 52mm filter thread and is matched to the angle of view of 28mm lenses (as well as compatible zooms), so there is no vignetting.
