Description
On a Rolleiflex 3.5T, 3.5F or 2.8F, the exposure meter with its selenium cell is usually the weak point. The cell reacts chemically to light and wears out over the years, even if the camera just sits on a shelf and catches daylight.
This cover blocks light from reaching the metering cell and thus stops the chemical process while you are not taking pictures. You put it on when the camera is not in use and take it off again to shoot. Since an old selenium exposure meter practically cannot be repaired, this way it keeps measuring correctly for as many years as possible.

Both items fit very well, the Rollei 35 lens cap still a pretty tight fit, but I think it will loosen up over time.
