Description

The selenium light meter is the weak point in many Rolleiflex cameras. The cell reacts chemically to light and wears out over the years, even if the camera just sits on a shelf and gets daylight exposure.

This cover blocks light from reaching the cell and stops the chemical process as long as you are not shooting. You put it on when the camera is not in use and remove it again for shooting. Since an old selenium light meter is practically impossible to repair, this helps it measure correctly for as long as possible over the years.
