Description

This lens hood sits on the Bay I bayonet of the taking lens and fits twin-lens cameras such as the Yashica Mat 124G, the Rolleiflex T, the Minolta Autocord or the Yashica 635.

Without a lens hood, backlighting can quickly cause reflections on the taking lens of your Yashica Mat 124 or another Bay I camera, reducing contrast and sharpness. The hood shields the area beside the image field.

The same component includes a filter thread. This lets you screw in standard filters—ND, color, or black-and-white filters—so you are no longer dependent on rare and expensive original bayonet accessories. The thread you receive depends on the version: outer bayonet with 46 mm, inner bayonet with 39 mm.
