Description

A Hasselblad digital back such as the CFV 50c or a Phase One fits the V series, but the camera itself is designed for the square 6x6 format. If you attach a digital back with a 33x44mm sensor (e.g. CFV 50c), the camera only uses a rectangular section of the focusing screen, so the viewfinder shows more than what ends up in the final image.

The mask clips onto the focusing screen (under the waist-level finder or prism finder) and can be unclipped again at any time. It marks the effective image area so you can set your composition correctly right away.
