  • Replacement for the defective original battery pack: Battery holder for 7 standard AA batteries plus included dummy – so your Metz stick flash stays in use, even though the often faulty original packs are no longer available.
  • Included dummy closes the circuit: It bridges the eighth slot in the holder – without the dummy, the adapter does not supply power, and it should never be put in the charger.
  • Short flash recharge times: about 12-15s at full power and over 300 flashes per charge.

Safety Instructions

  • Important safety note: Designed for 7x AA + dummy. The batteries must be charged externally – NEVER charge through the flash generator (risk of fire!).
  • The included AA dummy is NOT a battery and must NOT be charged. It still must be placed in the holder: it bridges the eighth slot and closes the circuit.

Description

The old Metz battery packs are often the weak point of the stick flash – and original replacements are no longer available. This battery holder supplies power with seven rechargeable AA batteries, which you can buy individually at any time.

The included AA dummy is important: the holder is designed for 7 cells plus dummy. The dummy is not a battery and is not charged – it sits in the eighth slot and closes the circuit. Without it, the adapter does not supply power.

For installation, align the two triangle markings on the locking cap and flash housing and close the holder with a push-and-turn motion. The holder does not have charging electronics for the generator connection: you always charge the batteries in an external charger.
