Description
A Kiev 66 prism on your Pentacon Six or Exakta 66 replaces the often dark and expensive original finders. This adapter allows mounting the widely used Kiev 60/66 prisms (TTL or standard). The result is a brighter viewfinder image that covers 100% of the ground glass.
Adjusting the Fit: The prism is held by the two screws in the adapter, which engage its grooves. Screw the screws in until about 3 mm of the shaft still protrudes. If the prism sits too loosely or too tightly on your camera, turn them a little further in or out with a 1.5 mm hex key.
Note for Exakta 66 users: Since the Exakta system uses a mechanical cam for aperture transmission, metering with the Kiev prism works uncoupled (measure light, transfer values manually). The advantage: metering also works with third-party lenses without cams.

The included screws do not fit into the grooves of the prism finder, so it comes off easily.

To avoid fitting issues, please make sure to screw the screws in so that they protrude approximately 3mm. The tightness and fit can also be adjusted by turning the screws. If you screw them in just one full turn, it may not hold properly.
