- Several sheets of sheet film at once: The MK2 reel holds up to 6 sheets of 4x5" sheet film and fits directly into existing Paterson tanks.
- Changing chemicals in dim light: In the Paterson Universal (PTP115), the included light trap provides the seal, so you can change developer, stop bath and fixer without a full darkroom.
- Film guidance without overlapping: The design keeps the sheets apart during agitation and minimizes the risk of emulsion damage.
- Works in combination with all Paterson tanks: In the PTP115 with the light trap (without the original funnel), in the multi-reel tanks PTP116/117/118 directly with the original funnel, without a light trap, but light-tight.

Description
With this developing reel, you can develop 4x5 sheet film in your existing Paterson system without having to buy a dedicated large format tank system. In the Paterson Universal Tank (PTP115), the included light trap takes the place of the original funnel, so you can switch between developer, stop bath and fixer outside the darkroom in dimmed light.
In the larger Multi-Reel tanks (PTP116, PTP117, PTP118), the reel works without the light trap, directly with the original funnel; the tank remains light-tight in this configuration as well. The reel may have some play there and rattle, but this does not affect the light-tightness.
