- Noticeably better ergonomics: The Nikon F2 feels angular and heavy in the hand. The grip offers much more gripping surface for longer shoots.
- Film changes without unscrewing: The cutout in the base plate leaves the O-C lever accessible. You can open the back with the grip attached.
- Arca-Swiss built right in: The profile is integrated into the grip, so you can put the camera on your tripod without a wobbly adapter plate.
- Protects the body: The grip's contact surface does not scratch the camera body.

Description
If you're looking for a grip for your Nikon F2, it almost always comes down to the same point: the mechanical classic is brilliantly built, but ergonomically a child of the 70s. This hand grip gives the camera more gripping surface without changing its classic design. The Arca-Swiss rail is machined directly into the grip. You mount the camera straight onto the tripod without carrying an extra adapter plate. The base plate leaves the O-C lever for opening the back accessible. You change film without removing the grip.

F2 Grip
Well made and sturdy overall. The only minor issue is a small gap (just under 1 mm) between the top of the handle and the body, which causes a slight wobble during use. I fixed it easily with a small piece of self-adhesive mohair tape. The soft surface doesn't scratch the body, and now the handle feels solid.

We are Anto & Vladi
Support a young startup
You want innovative solutions instead of mass-produced goods? With us, you don’t buy from an anonymous wholesaler, but directly from the founders. We (Anto & Vladi) started our startup in 2019 in Würzburg to help you revive analog photography.
Developed by engineers
Designed in Würzburg
We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we print and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
