Description

This lens hood for Rollei medium format lenses with Bay VI (6) bayonet keeps stray light entering from the side away from the front element. This reduces flare and loss of contrast in backlit situations and also protects the front element from knocks and rain.

For wide-angle lenses with focal lengths from 40 to 60 mm, it is deliberately built shorter than our Bay VI lens hood for 80–250 mm. The compact design prevents shading (vignetting) in the wide-angle range.

It can also be used together with our Bay VI to 67mm filter adapter: the hood fits directly over the adapter.
