As an alternative to the 2R10 battery, this adapter holds a standard 3V lithium CR123A and brings it to the form factor of the 2R10 Duplex stick battery. This gets your old DDR device running again without you having to track down the old zinc-carbon cell. You can get the CR123A almost anywhere, whereas the 2R10 is hardly available anymore.

Is the battery included? No. The CR123A is a lithium cell that we do not include for shipping reasons. You can get it anywhere in stores, often cheaper in a twin pack.

Which devices is the adapter intended for? For anything that runs on a 2R10 Duplex, i.e. the DDR devices 3010 and 2010 and flashes from the same era. With the cell inserted, the adapter measures Ø 21 x 74 mm.

3V instead of the original voltage, does that work? Yes. When new, the 2R10 delivered 3V, just like the CR123A. The difference is the flatter discharge curve of the lithium cell, so the device runs more evenly than before.
