Good to know

Without a battery, every mechanical shutter speed including B works, but the light meter does not. [1]

The manual calls for two meter batteries, stacked one on top of the other with the positive sides facing down. [1]

To take a reading, press the metering button on the front; the lens stops down to the set aperture and the viewfinder image gets darker. [1]
