Description

The old Spotmatics and Fujicas were designed for the constant voltage of 1.35V from the mercury cells of that time. These cells are no longer available today, so this set mechanically adapts modern zinc-air hearing aid batteries of type P312 to the required format.

The included rubber ring centers the smaller cell in the battery compartment and ensures secure contact. Electrically, the zinc-air cells are a direct replacement for the old types PX400, EPX400, and V400PX: they deliver a stable 1.35V under load, so the light meter works correctly without you having to adjust the camera.

Note: Zinc-air batteries are activated by removing the seal. Wait about one minute before inserting them into the camera.
