Description

This adapter eliminates the need to search for overpriced specialty batteries. It combines four standard button cells into a 6V battery pack that mechanically matches a V28PX or 4SR44 exactly. It fits in the battery compartment of your medium-format or 35mm camera just like the original battery.

For cameras such as the Pentax 67 or Canon A series, we recommend the SR44 version because silver-oxide cells maintain a stable voltage right up to the end. LR44 batteries are the readily available backup solution from drugstores in an emergency.

Which cameras is this fitting sleeve designed for? All camera bodies that accept a V28PX, 4SR44, PX28 or 4LR44 with 6V. The Pentax 67, Canon AE-1 and Mamiya RZ67 have been tested.

LR44 or SR44—which should I choose? LR44 batteries are alkaline and less expensive, while SR44 batteries are silver oxide and maintain their voltage consistently for longer. For the Pentax 67 with its power-hungry shutter, the Extra Power version with SR44 batteries is worthwhile.

How many cells do I need per replacement? Four; they are included with the adapter version. You can get replacements from us as a refill pack with four SR44 cells or buy them anywhere batteries are sold.
