Battery cells for high current peaks: The new version is designed to supply the brief current demand of the 6008 when the shutter is released, which causes the cells of our previous version to shut off.
Replacement for the original NiCd battery: Lithium-ion cells in an adapter that fits into the camera's battery compartment.

For the Rolleiflex SLX, 6001, 6002, 6003 and 6006, the battery adapter is already available today.
Description
When the shutter is released, the Rolleiflex 6008 briefly draws more current than the other models of the 6000 series. The battery cells of our previous battery adapter shut off because their protection circuit does not allow such high current peaks. That is why we are currently not selling it for the 6008 series.
We are working on a new version with cells for higher current peaks. A prototype is already running on a 6008 Professional here; we will continue testing before we sell it. The adapter is developed and assembled by us in Würzburg.
