Description

On the Canon AL-1 (QF), the battery door almost always breaks — this battery compartment cover replaces it as a form-fitting replica. This replacement cover was specially designed to solve the problem permanently.

For installation, you need the metal contact from your original battery door. Depending on the production year, this contact is either glued or screwed. If glued, you drill the necessary holes for the included screws with a fine 2mm drill bit to screw the metal contact onto the new door. The cover itself is held — like the original — by the existing pin or screws; only the closure works without a spring and fits by friction. Installation takes just a few minutes.
