Description

The Canon AL-1 QF is an exciting alternative to the more expensive AE-1, but almost always suffers from a broken battery door. We designed this replacement to solve the problem permanently.

Important note on installation: You need parts (the metal contact) from your original battery door. Unlike the original, our version does not use a spring for the closing mechanism but holds securely through precise fit and friction.

Depending on the camera's production year, the original is either glued or screwed. If your contact is glued, you need to drill the necessary holes for the screws (included) with a fine 2mm drill bit so you can screw the metal contact onto the new door.
