  • Replacement for the defective original battery: The old Beaulieu battery packs are usually beyond repair and are hardly available as replacements anymore; available alternatives cost considerably more.
  • Metal thread in the lid: Version 2 has an aluminum thread in the screw-on lid, replacing the original’s worn-out plastic threads.

Description

With this battery adapter, you can fully replace the original battery pack of your Beaulieu 4008, including models ZM, ZM II, ZM 4, and M3, and operate the camera with six standard AAA rechargeable batteries (NiMH, 1.2 V, 7.2 V combined), which you can buy at any time. The batteries are charged externally in a standard AAA charger, so you no longer need the special Beaulieu charger.

This is the revised Version 2: It has an aluminum thread in the screw-on lid, replacing the original’s worn-out plastic threads so that the lid remains securely fastened even after frequent opening and closing. The PCB contact plate connects the adapter to the camera. We designed the adapter and lid ourselves, and they are manufactured in Germany.

Do I still need the special Beaulieu charger? No. You can charge the AAA rechargeable batteries in a standard AAA charger.

Are rechargeable batteries included? Yes, in the complete package: 12x EBL AAA rechargeable batteries (1100 mAh) and 1x EBL charger for 12 cells. The Standard and Filmmaker set include the adapter with screw-on lid, but no rechargeable batteries.

Does the adapter also fit the ZM 4 and M3? Yes, it is compatible with the Beaulieu 4008 S, 4008 ZM, 4008 ZM II, 4008 ZM 4, and 4008 M3.
