  • Replacement for the defective original battery: The old Beaulieu battery blocks are usually beyond repair and hardly available as replacements.
  • Metal thread in the cap: Version 2 features an aluminum thread in the screw cap, replacing the worn-out plastic threads of the original.
  • Operates with standard AAA batteries: 6x AAA batteries (NiMH, 1.2V), which you can buy anywhere, instead of the hard-to-find original battery.

Safety Instructions

  • The batteries used MUST NEVER be charged via the camera’s charging port or the original charger. Please always use an external charger for the AAA cells.

Description

With this adapter, you completely replace the original battery block of your Beaulieu 4008 and operate the camera with AAA batteries that you can buy anytime. This is the revised version 2: It has an aluminum thread in the screw cap, replacing the worn-out plastic threads of the original, so the cap stays securely in place even after many openings and closings.

The PCB contact plate establishes the connection to the camera. With 6 cells at 1.2V each, the voltage is 7.2V. Adapter and cap are designed by us and made in Germany.
