This battery adapter uses 4x LR44 or SR44 batteries and converts them to the size of a PX23 battery. This gives you a replacement for the PX23 battery (also V23PX), which is commonly used in analog cameras, the Retina S2 flash, and Sennheiser microphones like the Sennheiser K3U.
The adapter produces 6.0 volts, which is higher than the 5.6 volts generated by the original mercury-containing PX23 cell. Most devices can handle the slightly higher voltage and work perfectly.
