Description

The PX14 (also V14PX or 2MR9) was a double cell with 2.7 volts, used in many Super-8 cameras and early light meters. Since mercury batteries are no longer available, we designed this adapter. It holds two inexpensive 675 hearing aid batteries (zinc-air) — their extremely stable discharge curve of 1.35 V per cell adds up to the required 2.7 V. Your light meter will measure like on the first day again.

The adapter requires two cells per installation — the six included batteries provide three complete sets. The refill pack contains only the six batteries, no adapter.
