Description

The viewfinder window on the camera back shows you which film is loaded. However, the original foam seal around it often breaks down after decades of storage. Sticky crumbs then end up inside the camera or on the emulsion, and where gaps form, light leaks occur: light entering directly onto the film, leaving red streaks on your images.

This replacement seal sticks in the same spot and fits directly on the Leica R Series as well as many premium compact cameras from Contax, Ricoh, or Konica. Since the window sizes are similar on many analog cameras, it can be trimmed with scissors for slightly different cases. You get two pieces, so you have one as a spare or for a second camera.
