This 48 mm lens cap fits the Canon Canonet QL17 G-III and other cameras and lenses with a 48 mm filter thread, such as the Canonet 28 (New), the Minolta AL-F, the Yashica Minister III or the Canon FL 50mm f/1.8 (Type I). Built-in metal springs (snap-on) hold it in the filter thread.
Often the Canonet or the old FL lens is ready to use, only the cap is missing. 48 mm is not a standard size you can get anywhere, which is why we designed this cap. Unlike simple push-on caps, it sits firmly in the filter thread thanks to the springs, so the optics stay protected.
