Description
For the Meopta Axomat 4 and other older Meopta enlargers with a 69 mm mount, this lens board replaces the original M23.5 holder with a modern M39 thread. If you want to switch to modern lenses with an M39 mount, replace the original holder with this board and keep using your existing glass.
There are two versions. The flat standard board suits classic 35mm enlarging with 50 mm lenses. The recessed board (-13 mm) is designed for wide-angle lenses: with short focal lengths, the distance between lens and negative has to be very small, and the recess helps you reach the focus point without the enlarger's bellows becoming the limiting factor.

Recessed lens board
Despite the description the lens board does not fit a Meopta Opemus 3 as a recessed board. I was able to use it the other way around for the 80m lens. The flange is just the wrong shape.

Hi David, sorry, the description promises the recessed position for the Opemus 3, and on your enlarger the flange doesn't seat that way. Good that the board still works flipped for the 80 mm lens.
