You need a tripod head for the Copy Stand
Applies to the Full Set; the Basic and Pro Sets do not include a Copy Stand. The Copy Stand has a 3/8" screw on top; a tripod head is not included. The setup is: Copy Stand, then the tripod head, then the camera. Use the joint to align the camera exactly parallel to the negative, which is why there is no fixed camera mount on the profile.
Virtually any ball head or geared head will fit, because 3/8" is the standard on the underside of the head. If you have a tripod, simply unscrew the head and use it here. If you don’t have your own head, a simple mini ball head with a 3/8" connection is sufficient.
