Single mask or set -- what do you need?

• Single mask (1 piece): For replacing a single damaged or lost mask. Thanks to the symmetrical design, a single piece replaces both the top and bottom halves.
• Set (2 pieces): Complete pair of top + bottom mask for one format. Recommended for first purchase or if both original masks are missing. Saves about 17 percent compared to two single masks.
• Super Set (all 6 formats, 12 pieces): Complete package with all six formats as pairs. Significant savings compared to buying individually -- the option for those who want to use their L-1200 to the fullest.

Why does the Femoneg need two masks per format?

The Femoneg negative holder guides the film between two mask halves that press it flat into the image plane. One top, one bottom. Without both parts, the film is not stable -- especially 35mm film tends to curl and sharpness suffers.

Original Durst Femomasks are only available as secondhand pairs and are often incomplete in collections. Our symmetrical design solves this: you can either buy a complete new pair or reorder just the missing half individually.
