- Depth for protruding rear elements: On the Hologon 16mm and Biogon 21mm, the glass protrudes far out of the lens; the deep GK-R2 design keeps its distance and prevents contact.
- Usable from wide-angle to telephoto: Compatible with Contax G lenses from the Hologon 16mm to the Vario-Sonnar 35-70mm, as well as standard focal lengths such as the Planar 45mm and Sonnar 90mm.
- Replacement for the rare original cap: Spare parts for the Contax G system are hard to come by and often expensive.

Description
Description
This rear cap is designed for the Contax G system and follows the deep GK-R2 design. This is crucial for the series' wide-angle lenses, whose rear elements protrude far into the body: the cap keeps enough distance to prevent scratches on the glass.
Mechanically, it fits the standard focal lengths just as well, such as the Planar 45mm or Sonnar 90mm.

We are Anto & Vladi
Support a young startup
You want innovative solutions instead of mass-produced goods? With us, you don’t buy from an anonymous wholesaler, but directly from the founders. We (Anto & Vladi) started our startup in October 2021 in Würzburg to help you revive analog photography.
Developed by engineers
Designed in Würzburg
We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we make and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
