- Replacement for the original battery: The original batteries for the R16 and 2016 are hardly available anymore; the adapter converts the handgrip to use six standard AAA rechargeable batteries.
- Secure fit thanks to metal thread: The metal thread in the screw cap doesn’t wear out or strip like plastic threads do after frequent changes.
- Designed for long shooting days: A set of six rechargeable 1000 mAh batteries (NiMH) lasts for about 15 rolls of film (30.5 m).
You will also need: For the version without batteries, 6 AAA rechargeable batteries (NiMH) and a charger for AAA batteries; for the version with 12 batteries without charger, just the charger.
Safety Instructions
Important safety note: NEVER charge the batteries in the adapter using the camera’s original charger. Always use an external charger for the AAA cells.

Description
Description
If you do find alternatives to the original battery for the Beaulieu R16 or 2016, you often get inconsistent quality or have to rely on expensive special chargers. With AAA rechargeable batteries, you are independent of all that. We recommend NiMH batteries because they deliver a stable voltage.

Support a young startup
You want innovative solutions instead of mass-produced goods? With us, you don’t buy from an anonymous wholesaler, but directly from the founders. We (Anto & Vladi) started our startup in October 2021 in Würzburg to help you revive analog photography.
Developed by engineers
Designed in Würzburg
We don’t sell anything we wouldn’t use ourselves. We are engineers and camera nerds, and we know that precision is especially important in camera technology. That’s why we design our parts ourselves in Würzburg, and we make and assemble most of them here too. Batteries and rechargeables come from other manufacturers, for example Varta.
