Description

Anyone shooting with a Beaulieu R16 or 2016 knows the problem: original batteries are hardly available anymore. Alternatives often come with inconsistent quality or require expensive special chargers. This adapter converts your camera’s handgrip to use standard AAA cells, making you independent.

The end cap features a metal thread that doesn’t wear out or strip, even after frequent battery changes on set. For operation, we recommend six NiMh batteries (e.g., Eneloop Pro or EBL 1100mAh) that provide a stable voltage. One set delivers enough power for about 17-18 rolls of 100ft film.
